The Venue
Sacred Valley Peru
Our beautiful retreat venue in Urubamba, has double and single rooms, a lush garden, communal eating area, and plenty of space to spend time alone and recharge.
Fresh healthy food will be provided, catering to vegan and vegetarian diets.
The price does not include flights or transfers.
Help with travel plans is available when booking.
Nearby places include the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ) which is an hour away.
Machu Picchu can be accessed via train, although not part of the retreat, it's easy to do before or after.
Your Teachers
Ilse Van Der Walt
Yoga Teacher
Ilse, has been trained in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga styles.
She is registered with the International Yoga Alliance and also completed a 5-month intensive work-study exchange in Ayurveda Yoga Therapy with Janesh Vaidya in Kerala, India in 2016.
Ilse offers intensive 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings in the Sacred Valley of Peru.
Her classes are focused on correct alignment and body awareness. Depending on the audience, classes are always tailored to the needs of the majority. All levels are welcome.
Ilse has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and has explored different kinds of plant medicines, fasting, and detox methods. She has a passion for nutrition, healing through food, metaphysics, and magic.
Aphra Wilson
Fire Walk Instructor
Aphra is an artist and experience creator. She weaves creativity with ceremony and holds space for transformation.
As a fire walk instructor, she'll help you to let go of anything that's holding you back, get clear on what you want to manifest in your life, and step out of your comfort zone as you walk over the coals towards the best version of you.
She works with the elements of earth, air, fire, water and magic to guide you on a journey filled with ritual, intention and creativity.

Earth
GROUNDING
On the first day, we'll connect with our bodies, nature and each other through grounding movement, a hike in the Andes mountains, and healthy food.
In the evening we'll begin our journey into magic by making an offering to the sacred land and one to bring home and bury in your own safe space to guard that energy with you forever.
Air
CLEARING
On the second day we'll connect to the element of air, through sound, music, yoga and journaling to uncover the limiting beliefs that have been weighing you down and holding you back from living your true purpose.
We'lll use sacred practices to reframe these old stories into somthing new.
Fire
LETTING GO
On the third day we'll light up our souls by connecting to the element of fire.
It's time to let go of the past, set new intentions and walk barefoot across the coals that symbolise your lifes obstacles.
Water
DREAMING
On the fouth day we will dive into the element of water, signifiying our rebirth.
We'll journal, dream and visualise our new life, and connect with a magical herbal tea ceremony.
Magic
MANIFESTING
On the fourth night, we'll ignite our magic, make a sacred sigil to signify our tramsformation and the start of our new journey. We'll create a piece of art to take home and keep as a symbol of how far we've come.
Optional - Sacred Tattoo ceremony to make the symbol permenantly if you feel called.

This is a shared room with one other retreat participant.
If you are a couple or friends that would like to stay together, please let us know and this can be arranged.
Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a hot water shower.
The rooms walk out into the cactus garden with surrounding mountain views.

This is a private room for one person only.
